Disability rights leader, Congressional Rep join headliners Stacey Abrams and Michael Lewis for accessible online rally to mobilize voters ahead of Election Day
WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Stand Up for Science has announced an update to the speaker lineup for its upcoming No Kings Virtual & Accessible Get Out the Vote Rally on Saturday, October 17 at 12 pm Eastern. Veteran disability rights leader Theo W. Braddy and U.S. Congressional Representative Adelita Grijalva (AZ-07) are scheduled to give remarks. They join the slate of previously announced speakers including political leader Stacey Abrams and best-selling author Michael Lewis.
“We know that a lack of physical access too often keeps people with disabilities from fully participating. Accessible voting helps ensure people with disabilities can make our voices heard on the decisions that affect our lives, our independence, and our future. This rally sends an important message: we are here, our issues matter, and our votes count,” said Braddy.
“Raising our voices and standing together has never been more important. The No Kings Rally is an opportunity to show that our democracy belongs to the people. We must turn our outrage into action, mobilize our communities, and make our voices heard at the ballot box. Our future depends on it,” said Rep. Grijalva.
The No Kings Virtual & Accessible GOTV Rally will kick off with a formal speaking program, followed by various breakout sessions, including opportunities to connect with Americans voting abroad.
