Aptar Named One of the World’s Most Sustainable Companies by TIME for Third Consecutive Year

“We are honored to be named one of TIME’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies for the third consecutive year,” said Stephan B. Tanda, Aptar President and CEO. “This recognition is in addition to being named among the Top 100 of America’s Best Companies by TIME, and reflects our continued commitment to integrating sustainability into every aspect of our business from advancing renewable energy sourcing to developing innovative solutions that support circularity and help our customers achieve their sustainability goals. I am proud of our employees around the world whose dedication and expertise continue to help make meaningful progress.”

The World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2026 ranking recognizes leading companies in corporate social responsibility from around the globe. Over 5,000 leading companies were assessed, considering factors like data transparency, environmental & social stewardship, and adherence to the UN Global Compact or alignment with the Science Based Targets Initiative. Each company was awarded a score out of 100, with the top 750 companies earning a place on the World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2026 list.

“Our sustainability strategy is focused on keeping progress in motion and taking actions that support our people, communities and the environment. Being recognized by TIME for the third consecutive year underscores the strength of our global sustainability approach and the commitment of our teams to advancing responsible business practices and innovative solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future,” said Beth Holland, Chief Sustainability Officer.

As outlined in the Company’s 2025 Corporate Sustainability Report, “Progress in Motion,” Aptar continues to make meaningful progress across key areas of its global sustainability strategy including:

  • Continued progress towards Aptar’s Climate Transition Plan, which is designed to support the transition to a low-carbon economy. Aptar’s Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)

  • As of year-end 2025, 98% of Aptar’s electricity was sourced from renewable sources.

  • Aptar completed a Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) aligned double materiality assessment. This assessment is intended to help the company identify and prioritize the topics that matter in terms of the company’s impact on people and the planet, while also considering the financial risks and opportunities.

  • In 2026, Aptar was again recognized on the CDP A List for leadership on climate change topics, and Aptar was named a CDP Supplier Engagement Leader for the sixth consecutive year, a recognition which assesses the company’s awareness of climate change issues, management methods and progress towards action taken on climate change.
