How the Platform Works
The app’s core feature is an interactive map that displays live photo and video updates – each capped at 30 seconds – from contributors at locations worldwide. Content is automatically deleted after 24 hours, ensuring the feed reflects current conditions rather than archived material.
A second feature, called Live Request, allows users to submit up to three location-specific questions per day – such as “What is the crowd like at this venue right now?” or “Is the road flooded near this area?” – that are routed to contributors within or near the specified area. A Priority Connection System matches requests with nearby users in real time, drawing on a decentralised contributor network rather than a central editorial team.
Users can monitor the status of their requests and contributions through a Live Activity Dashboard, which tracks engagement and network participation in real time. Sign-up requires only a Google or Apple ID.
