SANYA, China – April 20, 2026 – The much-anticipated 2026 China Vintage Car Carnival · “Traffic Cone” Vintage Car Festival officially opened today at Haitang Square, located in the core area of Sanya’s “National Coast.” The event is organized by Beijing Qifan Culture & Creativity Co., Ltd., and undertaken by Sanya Qiqu Island Travel Agency Co., Ltd. It receives joint support from the Sanya Municipal Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau; Sanya Public Security Bureau; Sanya Investment Promotion Bureau; Haitang District People’s Government of Sanya City; Haitang District Public Security Bureau of Sanya City; and Sanya Tourism and Culture Development Group Co., Ltd.
As a premier intellectual property (IP) in China’s vintage car culture scene, this year’s carnival is themed “Classic Departure, Returning to the Golden Age.” The event aims to promote international vintage vehicle culture, foster the contemporary inheritance and innovation of classic car culture, and stimulate consumer vitality in Sanya through the integration of culture and tourism. It achieves this by deeply blending vintage car parades, retro markets, trendy interactive experiences, and diverse musical performances.
On the first day, immersive interactive activities such as the Memory Track, Tire Bowling, and Stamp Collection Check-in attracted a large number of participants, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
As night fell, the event reached another peak of excitement. The organizers carefully planned a diverse music party lineup, featuring rotating themes of R&B EDM, Rainbow EDM, and Water-Sprinkling EDM. Resident bands also performed classic retro covers, continuously pushing the on-site atmosphere to new heights.
Furthermore, several online influencers and celebrities (Daren) were present, interacting with both on-site and online audiences through short videos and live streaming, significantly amplifying the event’s communication reach. Organizers predict that the event will attract a large number of on-site spectators, with total online exposure expected to exceed ten million views.
The 2026 “Traffic Cone” Vintage Car Festival will continue to be open to the public daily at Haitang Square until April 22.
